South Africa & Botswana

South Africa - Cape Town

Cape Town is unlike any other city in the world. With its breathtaking natural scenery, the view of Table Mountain and the so-called Twelve Apostles (a line of secondary peaks), the welcoming people, famous harbor, wildlife, world-class restaurants and wines, and multicultural influences, it has grown into a sophisticated, cosmopolitan city since the end of Apartheid in 1994. With all of Cape Town, along with the surrounding region of South Africa, most find one visit to Cape Town is not enough.

Listed as one of the ‘New Seven Wonders of Nature’ Table Mountain is truly iconic. You can admire Table Mountain from multiple angles, but you really can’t say you’ve visited Cape Town until you’ve stood on top of it!

This historical harbour meets the most modern shopping experience including fine dining restaurants, museums, top designers and so much more.

Used as a prison from the early days of Apartheid, this Unesco World Heritage Site is preserved as a memorial to those (such as Nelson Mandela) who spent over twenty years in incarceration here. Tours available daily.

This picturesque part of South Africa’s coastline, with its enormous boulders dividing small, sandy coves, is home to a colony of 2,100 delightful African penguins.

The Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, a 5 star seaside hotel, is located in the Cape Town city center and is near all the big cultural offerings, including a complimentary 5-minute ride (or 10-minute walk) to the V & A Waterfront. The striking ocean views set the stage for a memorable stay in Cape Town.

Botswana - The Okavango Delta

The Okavango Delta is one of Africa’s most famous wildlife areas. This phenomenal park is an area of outstanding natural beauty that is home to some of the continent’s most famous safari camps and the superb concentration of big game.

The Delta is one of the most incredible wilderness sanctuaries in all of Africa, with 10,000 square miles of water channels, lagoons and islands. Each year, floodwaters flow from the central African highlands over 620 miles away into the Delta to create this wondrous wetland within a desert. It is home to large numbers of wildlife including the big five – rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard. There are several options offered at the Qorokwe Safari Camp to view game. They include on foot, an open 4 x 4 vehicle and by motorboat and/or mokoro.
